Important Notice to All Riders

Re: Snowmobile Trails



George Darouze, of Osgoode Carleton Snowmobile Trail Club, has asked
if we as a club could help them out.  They are having difficulties South of the
Village of Metcalfe with ATV's running the Snowmobile trails.  Osgoode Carleton Snowmobile
Trail Club is running the risk of losing some of their land owner permission because of this.
Please be on the lookout for ATV's on the snowmobile trails.  This is not
permitted at any time.

The Nation Valley ATV Club has a similar problem with ATV's out on the
trails while the trails are closed.  We had an altercation between "rogue" ATVers
and a landowner on the Easter weekend.  Please respect the fact the trails are closed. They are closed for a reason. We want the trails to be here for a long time in
the future.

The good news is, the trails will be open soon.  Tentative trail open
date is May 1st, a full month ahead of last year!   So, if you see people out on the
trails please try to jot down their license plate number and a description of the
bike and forward the information to info@nvatvc.org.
